Terms and Conditions
 

1. Booking and Payment

• Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of €100 is required to secure the date.
• Payment: The remaining payment is due after the performance. While payment is usually made on the same day, you have up to 14 days to settle the balance.
• Payment Methods: Accepted payment methods include Revolut, bank transfer, or cash.

2. Cancellation Policy

• By Client: The deposit is non-refundable as reserving the date means I may lose the opportunity to perform for someone else.
• By Performer: If I must cancel due to extreme circumstances such as illness, a full refund of the deposit will be issued. I will also do my best to find a replacement musician for your event.

3. Performance Details

• Set Duration: Most performances are 2 hours long, but durations can range from a single song to a maximum of 5 hours, depending on the event.
• Breaks: I take a short break every hour.
• Repertoire: You can view my setlist for available songs. Clients may select all or part of the setlist in advance by sending me their preferences via email at least one week before the event. If no preferences are given, I will tailor the music on the day to suit the audience. Please note that some songs may require refreshing, so advance notice is recommended. • Special Requests: Requests for songs not on my list cost €15 per song to learn. These must be communicated at least two weeks in advance. Note that some songs may not be suitable for acoustic performance, so please check with me first.

4. Travel and Accommodation

I perform within Co. Dublin, Co. Meath, Co. Louth, Co. Wicklow, and Co. Kildare. For locations outside these areas, please discuss your requirements with me. I usually do not require accommodation; however, for very late gigs or distant locations, accommodation may need to be arranged by agreement.

5. Equipment and Setup

I use three different professional sound systems to suit events ranging from intimate gatherings to large events of up to 300 people. Please inform me about your venue and audience size so I can bring the appropriate setup.

• Setup Time: Setup takes between 10 minutes (for small gigs) and 45 minutes (for larger events).

6. Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for providing a suitable venue, whether a private home, pub, or event space. I am not liable for issues related to noise complaints or disturbance of the peace, such as complaints from neighbors during private home parties.

7. Liability

I am not liable for any loss, damage, or claims arising from factors beyond my control, including technical issues or venue-related problems.

8. Force Majeure

I am not responsible for cancellations due to external conditions such as extreme weather. In these cases, the non-refundable deposit is retained. For outdoor events, I recommend having a backup indoor venue.

9. Copyright and Recording

I perform cover songs and am not liable if the client or guests record and publish videos online, potentially infringing copyright laws.

10. Agreement

Booking my services implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.
